GeoERP Technology
GeoERP uses the latest technology available today to provide a professional, state of the art solution:
  1. Three tier module
    • Clients – user workstations
    • Application server
    • Database server
The system transfers messages between the clients and the server using XML messaging technology, allowing many users to use the system simultaneously. It encourages central management of the database, providing users with access and messages transfer from various locations using the internet (FTP).
  2. Database - GeoERP uses MS-SQL as the database server. The database includes the Meta data (menu structures, data objects, fields and user levels), the system's data and the Geo-Spatial data.
  3. Embedded G.I.S
    • Environments – GeoERP includes two G.I.S environments:
      • Experts level – Using AutoCAD Map 3D as its editing and drawing GIS tool, GeoERP uses Autodesk's leading CAD solution with its integrated GIS engine to edit and draw the Geo-spatial data and add it to the Geo-spatial database.
      • Viewer level – Using MapGuide enterprise solution, GeoERP includes an embedded GIS publishing and deployment tool. The system uses the MapGuide web-based environment to share the Geo-spatial data with all the system's users, using the internet.
    • Geo-spatial database – GeoERP stores its Geo-spatial data on an SQL server database. The system manages the two SQL server databases, the Geo-spatial and the main application database, and integrates them. Both GIS environments, Experts level and Viewer level, link to the Geo-spatial database and shares the same data.
    • Embedded environment – The GeoERP GIS environment is an integral module of the entire system. It allows you to easily open the regional map and get information on plots, roads or infrastructure elements. On each queried element, you can immediately link to all other relevant information, related to the queried element.
    • Geo-spatial queries and reports generation – The GIS environment of GeoERP contains various options for production of Geo-spatial queries. You can use a polygon, radius, region or other spatial parameters. The result can be presented both on the map and in textual reports. The report generation module is also bi-directional – all reports generated by the system can be also presented on the map.
  4. ERP capabilities – One of the powerful features in GeoERP is its unique navigation interface enabling quick linking of the various data objects in the system. You can easily open data objects from other data object, by clicking on the linking icon.
  5. XML messaging and data transfer – Data between users and the server is transferred by means of short XML messages. Therefore, the data can be easily shared with other relevant applications. GeoERP includes a special data transfer mechanism that controls and monitors all messages, verifying that all messages receive their destination.
